In January 2008, DLS Hotels' development located in Napa, California, garnered a perfect score from Conde Nast Traveler' s Gold List. This same property has shattered multiple industry records since it' s opening in 2001. The hotel yearly occupancies exceeding 91%, with room rates averaging $850 per night. The award-winning design and innovative service immediately gained international attention and recognition with near-perfect scores from Zagat Guides, Conde Nast Traveler, Nota Bene, Travel + Leisure and many others. The property was purchased in 2005, again setting records for the highest price-per-key (PPK) sale in the U.S. for small hotels, and the second-highest PPK for all hotel sales in U.S. history.

National headquarters for the USA division, the 29-story building is the centerpiece of the Coca Cola campus in Atlanta, Georgia. As a senior interior architect on the project, Lisa Holt created multiple award-winning products for use in domestic and international commercial and hospitality developments.
Designed, developed and operated the internationally acclaimed, award-winning boutique luxury resort located in Napa, California. The hotel' s concept expanded the boutique genre lexicon, and has been featured editorially in numerous nationwide publications such as New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Travel and Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, and Departures. In 2005, Milliken Creek Inn set hospitality industry records for small hotels at its' sale with the highest price-per-key transaction in U.S. history.
Flagship hotel of the new brand category for Marriott, Lisa Holt and the team at John Portman were the first to incorporate the use of mixed-use public spaces (IMAX theatres, etc.) This Marriott was the first major project in the Times Square revitalization, and has been credited as the starting point for today's development node at Times Square.
Total Wellness was a groundbreaking concept that opened in 1996, and was easily a decade ahead of its time. The wellness center, located in Los Angeles, combined 7000 sq ft of retail, chiropractic, OMD and acupuncture offices, yoga studio and a spa. The projects' uniqueness rested in the repositioning and repackaging of wellness-related goods and services to appeal to a new demographic.
This 47-story tower located in Atlanta, Georgia, housed BellSouths' national headquarters. Completely customized interiors were developed by senior interior architect Lisa Holt and her team to blend the cutting-edge telecommunication technologies with the company' s traditional philosophies.
Developed in 1985, Cameo Cleaners, located in Los Angeles, was designed, developed and operated by David Shapiro. Two years later the mega-plant won the prestigious and highly coveted American Drycleaners Design Award, an honor reserved for ‘the most outstanding plant design' in the US. Cameo grew from yearly gross revenues of a mere $350,000 in 1985 to over $2 million by 1991, and in the process become the highest-grossing single location in the U.S., operating 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
As a senior Interior Architect with John Portman, Lisa Holt collaborated on multiple Hyatt projects, including numerous Hyatt Regency' s, the Westin Bonaventure, and the Embarcadero Center.
This Los Angeles recording studio recorded and produced various Pop and Jazz artists. David Shapiro, a virtuoso keyboardist, composed/produced/performed with various artists from Robbie Nevil, Whitney Houston and Phil Perry to Jazz legends Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Williams.
Developed by David Shapiro, The Art of Travel located in Los Angeles, pre-dated Virtuoso and other newer customized luxury travel agencies. Customization was the key here where The Art of Travel sourced unique corporate luxury travel experiences for their clients.
Extensive experience in architecture and design have led to multiple high-end residential projects throughout the U.S., most recently installing several notable commissions in the ultra-exclusive high-rise towers currently under construction in Las Vegas.
